Analog Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADI) will be exhibiting at Embedded World 2023 in Nuremberg, Germany from March 14th to 16th. Welcome to booth 360 in Hall 4A to learn about ADI’s technology How to make systems smarter in applications such as industrial automation, smart buildings, automotive, sustainable energy, and digital healthcare.
Currently, a variety of critical applications increasingly require more advanced smart technology solutions to build more sustainable industrial automation, smarter mobility, cleaner energy grids, and life-saving healthcare systems. As a result, higher requirements are put forward for system architects, product managers, and R&D leaders, and better hardware, software, and tools are needed to provide assistance to accelerate products to the market.
Demonstrations focusing on energy efficiency and edge intelligence in industrial and building automation include:
Industrial Connectivity – From the factory floor to the intelligent edge of the process – Learn how ADI combines long-range 10BASE-T1L Ethernet and single-pair Power over Ethernet (SPoE) power solutions supporting multiple power classes to build connected factories and capture intelligent edge insights? Accurately measure the size of moving objects using time-of-flight (ToF) technology – use advanced high-resolution 3D imaging technology for key logistics applications to accurately measure the size of packaging boxes, helping users better automate the transfer of large-scale containers of different sizes object? Trinamic Motion Control and Precision Current Sensing – This demo uses precision current sensing and control techniques to demonstrate this high-speed, high-performance motion control solution using Trinamic technology in an inverted pendulum application. ADI’s TMC4671 servo controller and AD8410A current sense amplifier combine to achieve higher performance and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Automotive and sustainable energy demos include:
Power Quality Monitoring Solution – This demonstration uses the ADE9430, a high-performance power quality monitoring IC, to determine the harmonics fed back to the grid by inverter-based energy sources including solar PV, energy storage solutions (ESS), and bi-directional EV chargers quantity. The solution provides more accurate diagnostics to optimize distributed energy resources by monitoring grid disturbances, resulting in a more reliable clean energy grid.
High Resolution GMSLTM Surround View Solution – This demonstration showcases a surround view implementation using the Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link (GMSL) to transmit and synchronize error-free video from a high resolution camera to the processor. ADI achieves breakthrough in GMSL technology to help automakers deploy Level 3+ autonomous driving.
